Triax 112 standby problems

    Hi all recently had a TR112 installed as part of a house over installation of saorview and free sat. I had bought the TR112 myself from a bricks and mortar shop for my main tv as it is a Panasonic with built in free sat receiver (bought from richer sounds)

    The TR112 works perfect in terms of reception etc.. However, when you switch it off and leave it for more than half an hour it refuses to come out of standby. You then have to remove the mains to reset it. Very annoying. It doesn't matter if you use the standby button on the remote or the box itself.

    I brought it back to the shop yesterday and got a replacement. Setup the new one last night. Grand. This morning same problem again. It's a nightmare. Does anyone have any idea if this is a known problem or am I that unlucky to get two boxes with the exact same problem.

    I had the same problem with a Triax 112 which I purchased last week. I downloaded the latest software from the Triax web site and updated the box . This cured the problem.

    The latest fiirmware for the TR112 addresses this issue.
