    Get a good nights sleep:)

    Everyone has to learn sometime...

Remember to relax... Easier said than done. But If you have good instructor it ll be all that much easier. It won't come to you all in the one go. It'll take time for you master everything.

Don't worry about cars behind you either.

    Enjoy

    Good luck with it :)

Your instructor will probably take you somewhere quiet like a housing estate to get used to the basic controls. If you're already able to move the car around the block though they might take you into some traffic. If you need to know anything be sure to ask the the ADI as they're sure to have all the answers you need.

Make sure to practice as much as you can between lessons!

I also made notes after each one while the information was still fresh in my mind (but I am a nerd...)
