Hey guys so i choose subjects without telling my parents or anything and without clue and with my own knowledge. Cores :
    Irish
    Maths
    English
    LCVP

    Main ones are these:
    Business studies
    Geography
    Physics :o

I would like a job with computers as im only in transition year, i would like to find out what subjects requires a job with computers or keeps my courses open. Im doing physics for my own sake and i found out physics wasnt too bad in the junior cert but im in doubt that it will be any easier in the leaving cert. Software engineering most likely. But i researched programming as it looks quite hard and fall out rate is INCREDIBLE:eek:

If not in the computer course i wouldnt mind a job in nursing (science) sector am i missing out on a subject that requires for nursing? please advice me.

Last but not least i want to go to a college near cork as im based in west cork.

Nope, you can do a nursing degree in UCC with one science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Physics with Chemistry (joint) or Agricultural Science). If you want more careers info, go to Qualifax :)

You only need one science for Nursing, but two would probably help you as I'm sure you'll have to study the sciences in college.

basically ye guys are saying i should be studying two science subjects instead of one so that it will be easier for me when studying nursing in college?

Basically, two sciences would be beneficial for Nursing, but you only need one to do the course. It would probably be more Biology/Chemistry based than Physics though.

Probably physics if you want to computer science or engineering.good Bit of physics in them. I did electronic engineering and never did physics in secondary school and fell way way behind.
Chemistry is tough too and would get lost if there is a lot of chemistry in Nursing, (not sure)

Biology is easy, just a lot of learning and not complicated like the other two and doubt ya need to know about plants and stuff and a lot of other bull in the course.

Do Physics anyway but look up college courses and see what there requirements are. Some college courses require two science subjects.
