Last minute deals

Anyone know the best place to get them? Don't normally go for package holidays, but just found out that my workplace is closing for a week in July (end of July) and have decided that we might as well go on holiday. We just really need a break and some sun, so any beach resort place is fine. All inclusive all the better. We're thinking Spain, Greece, Turkey...basically anywhere hot for 5-7 nights. Have googled but the hols for that week are expensive now (as obviously it's still not that last minute!) so we're thinking of risking it and waiting until the week before to book. We're flying from London and I'm a bit concerned that loads of other people will be going away that week to escape the Olympics etc. Does anyone have experience with booking last minute holidays and could recommend a decent website?

Don't limit yourself to London airports for departure. The more options you give yourself, the better your chances of a decent deal.

Keep checking online, but booking last minute deals is usually around 72 - 12 hours before departure. Remember too that you're looking at peak season, so there may be very heavy demand.

Try www.falconholidays.ie they have some last minute deals for next weeken seen crete for 399 also try www latedeals.ie and www.wingsabroad.ie
