I just recalled that you can't eat meat on good friday and I also remembered that priests gave out communion on good friday, whats the problem? Catholics believe that the plastic tasting circle stuff fully transforms into the body of christ, they dont believe that it represents it, the believe it is the actual body. If it is the body (which is is proven not to be) like catholics believe then it shouldnt be eaten on good friday as it is meat.

Holy crap we finally found a logical inconsistency in Catholic dogma! This is it boys. Let's get this to the press and the Church will be shutting down tomorrow. Well fought lads.

If cannibalism of their god doesn't bother them, doing it on a Friday probably won't either.

On the other hand, transubstantiation is just such a technical metaphysical term that it means whatever the hell they want it to at whatever time given the context. That's the benefit of making something up, you can change it whenever you like.

Always tempted to hand leaflets outside a church warning of the dangers of possibly developing kuru due to consuming the body of Christ :pac:

If you can read this, you're too close!

No point in getting worked up about it, OP. You'll probably get some sort of jesuitical answer that defies all normal logic.

Best to just let them get on with it.
