    Hi all

I have got an offer of campus accommodation in the GMB for the next year, in house 30. Can anyone give me any information on what its like as a place to live? The website is not very informative.. I'm particularly interested in what the kitchen facilities are like, how many share a kitchen and whether the bedrooms are pretty spacious.
    Thanks for your help

You'll share a kitchen with either 3 (30.x.1-4) or 4 (30.x.5-9) other people. The kitchens are quite big, with a big fridge/freezer, and a smaller under-counter fridge. They have brand-new ovens, and a 4-ring electric hob, and there's a good bit of space, so it won't get too cramped, and if you like to cook you'll be fine. There's also a microwave/oven, toaster and a kettle. There's a dining table, and a couch/sofa thingy that's not very comfortable. A lot of people tended to eat in their rooms, but it all depends on how sociable your floormates are.

The bedrooms are fairly spacious, they contain two beds (one is "disguised" as a couch), so they're handy if you wanna have friends sleep over.

It's also within the T-ball site, which is very handy. You can store booze in your room and go back and forth during the night for topups.

Thanks for the very helpful reply. The kitchens sound really good, am relieved to hear that it will be possible to do some real cooking! A spare bed also sounds v handy :)
