Does anybody else think that the prices for GAA games reasonable??? I think that the prices charged are very good value. Most people always give out about the price charged into games. €13 for a league game. €25 for the double header league semi finals in Thurles. €30 for the league Final. Then you have the GAA Season Ticket, only €75 for all league games and finals, any county in both football and hurling. Then your counties 1st Championship match is free. Even the All Ireland Final at €75 is good IMO. Compare it to rugby and soccer games in the Aviva anything from €50 to €120 for friendlies or competitive games. Premier league matches will set you back bout £60. Granted lots of people are struggling at present and simply can't afford the ticket prices but the GAA is a business and needs to make money. Unlike many of its sporting counterparts, the GAA pump money back into local clubs and counties to facili development.

For just about every game at every level they're great value, some provincial championship pricing differences being the only thing anyone with a sane bone in their body could complain about these days.

Far more bang for your buck at GAA grounds than any other major sport in this country, or indeed most other countries around the world.
