Nikon D7000 Windows/Mac software question

    Hey everyone

I was wondering if you could help me. I am torn between the d7000 and the 7d. I have read every possible review out there and also felt both cameras.

They are both similar cameras and although I know the 7d is a better camera as such I just fancy the Nikon a bit more for some reason.

However, what it might turn the scale on Canons favour is that I am not 100% sure if the D7000 has some sort of camera remote control software like I know the 7d has.

I believe there is software available from Nikon called camera control pro but I think it doesnt work on the D7000?

If you are wondering why would I need this is because I am planning of doing some astrophotography with this camera and having it connected to the PC/Mac will be handy!

    Thank you!
