Roving Archery in Eire

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if there are any roving archery societies or fellowships in Ireland?

I currently shoot with the Finsbury Marks http://www.finsburymark.org/ here in the UK but after a wonderful holiday in Galway I thought it may be nice to mix my favourite form of archery with my next visit to Ireland.

I noticed that Flybow sells warbows so someone must be shooting heavy bows.

    Thanks in advance

    Stuart

Flybow is owned by the same guy that runs the Mayo Archery Club. Mayo Archers are heavily into Trad archery if that's you're thing. Most of the IFAF (Irish Field Archery Federation) clubs have Trad archers in them. I shoot AFB myself having moved from BH(c).

Also check out the ITFAS website. (Irish Traditional Field Archery Society)

    Thanks Lardy,

I shoot 45# Longbow at Derwynd FAC (NFAS) and a 100# Steve Stratton at the roving marks.
I'll check out the ITFAS site and see if they shot any roving or clout type shoots.
