iPad 3 Digitizer repairs

    Hi,

after dropping a fork on my new iPad, shattering the glass and finally calming down 2 hours later, I've looked into my options. I looked at a DIY video on youtube, considering to fix it myself and buy a Digitizer on eBay.

However, even though I am quite good at this kind of stuff, this involves just too much glue and too many fine ribbon cables for my comfort. On the other hand, it also showed me how easy it would be for a repair service to charge a fortune for it and yet still screw up the assembly or damage the antennae or WiFi connector etc.

I really don't want to end up spending €250 at some 'authorised' repair centre, but I don't want a cowboy job either. Can anyone recommend a good service centre in Dublin or Cork? Are Techfixers in Dublin reliable at all?

    Cheers.
