Stansted - luton transfer

I need to transfer from Stansted to Luton airport and the National Express timetable is ****e.

I have plenty of time... Arrive at stansted at 9.45am and dept Luton at 14.55.

The National Express has two coaches departing Stanstead at 9.15am - even with the padding built into Ryanair's schedule i don't think i'll make them. There is then nothing until another two coaches depart at 11.10am which arrive at 12.40 at Luton (so still in plenty of time)

That is such a stupid timetable - two buses at once, nothing for two hours and then again two buses at once

I don't really fancy sitting around at stansted for an hour and a half but the train into london and then to luton is around 4 times more expensive :( would feel better if i was in the move rather tham waiting but not at that price.

Guess there really is nothing that can be done, just felt the need to rant:rolleyes::p:D

You could always get the easybus into London and back again, it wouldn't be too expensive, but I can't see why you would.

Just get a coffee and something to eat in Stansted then get the NE bus when it leaves! If the bus left earlier you'd only be waiting around in Luton anyway!

Hmm, loking some more i could get A bus to either Baker st or Straford and then transfer via the underground to St Pancras station and get the train to Luton. Bit dearer than sitting around waiitng for the Nat Express bus, but at least i'd be on the go.

Edit: didn't see your post above Timbuk2... Good point, hadn't thought that i'd be sitting around at Luton!
