Why you fellas keep going on about it? It's like me campaigning to be black....I never will be, so what's the point?

Perhaps if you're that scared of your house you should move......

The answer to the question I think there was a tax issue. The govt don't want everyone getting married to dodge tax. 2 widowers down the pub could tie the knot in order to get a better tax deal. That was a fear when last I heard.

Trust the govt to make it about money!:rolleyes:

I tell ye it bugs the living sh*t out of me when gay fellas start interfering with this stuff. Marriage is none of their business, neither is bringing up kids, yet for some bizarre reason they think they are entitled to both.

The clue is a woman and a man....very simple science.

It's none of their business, yet they want a bit of the action cos "they're worth it". A big party with two grooms or two brides.....a ridiculous image at best.....that's what they want. They bang on about equality, but they will never be equals when they continue to impinge on normal morality and values.

Elton John with "his" child is one of the saddest images of the 21st Century.

I assume your joking here? The tax rules are to benefit a married couple in setting a good foundation for having children.

None of this applies to gay people, so they should have none of the tax benefits.

I agree with this point but feel gay marriage only concerns the two individuals involved.

Nowadays they think people take them seriously, but we are all laughing behind their backs. Whenever one walks past me, I always give me missus the "kissy face"....oooooh Matron.....cracks us right up let me tells ye!!!

In some ways, for the laugh they give me, I hope they're always around. There's one fella works in me local shop....we all call him "the only gay in the village" cos he's just as fat as the Little Britain fella.

He's always in good form, even though the school kids call him a "steamer"!!
