Quick question where is a private place to kiss in dublin? (apart from the house)....I'm afraid to kiss in public, as it may raise problems.

You could try the Phoenix Park, but unfortunately it has a bad reputation for gay cruising. You could try another park or maybe along the Dollymount Strand on Bull Island; the dunes are always a nice spot.

You could try some gay bars too.

How do the find someone to cruise with? lol.

Has Dublin became more cosmopolitan like other countries with gay people yet, or is it still conservative?.

    Thnx for helping!

Apparently you have to use your gaydar and there's some hand-signals too, but I've never done it, nor would I ever do it - too many risks involved. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Well it's getting better. Some parts of Dublin are better than other, particularly the more touristy spots like Temple Bar. If two men were holding hands while walking down a street you might get a few odd glances, but apart from that nobody really cares. It might get a little worse at night when all the roughians come out of hiding though.

Yeah, from my experience - a few odd glances maybe but nobody really cares around most of the city. Perhaps in a few areas but usually they're easy enough to tell apart.

I've never really hesitated with the occasional public kiss anyway, and have never had any trouble over it. I wouldn't worry too much.
