Ballpark figures please

My wedding cake is being made by my bridesmaid's mother so I wanted to get her a gift voucher for around amount that I would have spent on a cake had she not offered. So mow much would one normally pay for a 3 tier round standard fruit wedding cake?
Also her sister is providing the wedding music and singing (I know, generous family or what!) so ditto for that.
Any help on estimating these costs is much appreciated

depends on the size of the three tiers, but usually anything from 300-500.
Singer would normally charge 200-300 depending on travel and her experience.
