Living alone in Toulouse, France

I've just moved Toulouse, and after 2 weeks of not doing anything but working long hours 9-8 each day.. I'm getting a bit bored of being alone.
I moved here for a job, and although I speak french I'd like to meet some expats.
Short of stalking an Irish bar, how does one meet other expats?

    Suggestions?

Join a rugby club. Even if you've never played before it's a great way to meet people and there's no shortage of them around Toulouse.
