cracking game today between WCE and Collingwood. 3 point win for those damn magpies. Brennan had a great chance to score a goal with 2 minutes left but fluffed it. Real end to end stuff and both sides would go in the lead and then go tit for tat. To be honest, not too despondent over the loss. I felt we didnt play great, a lot of silly mistakes and poor passing at times, but still only a kick of the ball in it at the end, having played in the MCG too. Good experience for the young guys to play a blockbuster game in MCG with a big crowd and big pressure. It was at finals pace. A bit of fine tuning and I think the Eagles could go well come September.
