I discovered that if anyone who has renewed their TV Licence at any time before September, they have a chance to go to an automatic monthly draw until to win one of two 32" Saorview approved TV's made by either Sony, LG, Phillips or Samsung.

I had received the notice on Thursday morning in the post including a competition prize leaflet and a Saorview switchover leaflet.

Here is the page showing the prize winners so far

The first name on the list though is very familiar

I thought you knew Munster Rugby. Doesn't matter though.

Well, the John Hayes I'm thinking of is this one

I find it very unlikely that it is him though.

There's a county called "John Hayes" - it's part of County Tipperarick. My cousins John and Hannah live in it but they don't play rugby.

Lots of John Hayes's around Limerick, the John Hayes of rugby fame is from Cappamore in the east of the county.
