I live under the Glideslope for the runway for the airport in Waterford. Thursday evening,I was just after leaving my house when I looked up and saw an untitled 146 on finals. Wondering if Aer Arann have leased them again? I know they leased them in 2007 for summer routes.

Possibly just a replacement for an ATR that went out of service? I know they used a fokker 50 into there a few weeks back.

The Fokker 50 was Fly Be.PH-KXX.

Not Aer Arann the one operating into Waterford was G-RAJJ operated by Celo Aviation(This aircraft was used by the queen when she visited ireland) and looks to be leased now by Flybe

Flybe have had a few Dash8 failures/incidents recently so I'd imagine that's why they're using random enough kit.

G-RAJJ also brought the Irish team out to Italy too (on their way to Euros), I think.

The queen of England on a raggle taggle jet hey... She must have felt so dirty and common arriving here... :D

The Royal Flight has its own 146/RJs so she's probably very used to it anyway.
