Can anyone please explain the difference between these 2 force chainsets. I'm looking to replace my one but i'm not sure which one to choose. The BB30 and GXP thing is confusing me. I know I need a compact with 172.5mm cranks.

.bb30 is a bottom bracket standard where bearings are pressed direct into the frame whilst gxp is a standard older bsa type outbound bottom bracket type where you screw cups into the frame. I reckon you are gxp but cant remember for sure what bike you have..

I think the karma is available in both types... you may need to take a pic of your current .bb area to be sure....

Looking at pictures online, it definitely seems to be a GPX bb, but how do I know whether its a standard English thread or an Italien thread. The bike is Italien but while reading up online, some bike mechanic said that a lot of so called Italien bikes use the standard English thread.
