    Hey its my b-day on tuesday and ive decided to treat myself to my 1st tattoo. I want to get a tattoo of the little mermaid and im looking for an artist who is good at old school tattoos. Im willing to travel to someone for a good result.

    so any names would be a great help thanks to all :-)

    Ross is the best tattooer in Ireland IMO. Well worth a visit.

    Classic Ink in Temple Bar. Ross Nagle is to my mind more of a New-traditional style. Traditional in its strictest sense uses only 5 colours. Shading and all that jazz doesnt come into it.

    Whip-shading has been the 'cornerstone' of a traditional tattoo for almost 100 years.. Maybe more? :confused:
