Should the bevel be facing up or down in a castelgarden twin cut

ok lads i jacked up the mower today to see were the blades sharp because it seemed to be leaving a line in the grass down the middle and the blades were very good ,no nicks but the bevel was facing down .i would have assumed the bevel would be up to leave a cleaner cut or is it right as is ? sorry for a stupid question
