English - I was aiming for an A, and after p1 I was confident. However, I did awful on p2, and now I think it'll be a B.
Maths - A high C/low B. I did better than I expected, and would be very happy with a B.
    Irish - With p1, a B, however with p2 where I messed up horrifically, a C.
    French - A, or at least a high B.
    Science - B.
    Geography - B, maybe an A.
History - B, maaaybe an A. Highly doubtful, although the work I did in the mocks was nothing and I still got 62... It's possible.
    Business - B.
    CSPE - A.
    Woodwork - C.
    Typing - A.
    Religion - B.

Why in the name of God is everyone expecting an A in English? My teacher for the past three years never gives out As.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 263 ✭✭Sentid

In the pre's I got 8 As and 4 Bs, the Bs being in Maths, English, Religion and Science.

ATM I think I've gotten about the same, but switched grades. I'm almost certain I got the A in Maths and Science, Relgion and English are iffy. But I'm afraid I didn't do aswell in History and Geography and maybe Irish as i did in the pre's. They were all marked easy :(

    But 8 As, I'd be happy :)

I hope you're not all counting on those As in CSPE - not going to happen if you look at the statistics.
Generally though, people will do better than they think they will.

I had a dream that I got my results the other night and i was actually happy till I woke up and new it was wrong :L
I got 100% in geography, 98% in english and 35% in Home ec :L
I cant remember the rest but i know this cannot happen :L

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,034 ✭✭✭dalta5billion

Oh trust me, the bad, vivid dreams have started already.

Most recently I didn't finish half of my German exam because the examiner was playing the bongo drums... :/ I kid you not.

It's actually amazing, my brain made up the letter topics and everything, I only realised it was a dream because the exam was for some reason taking place in my sitting room and I was using a sofa as a desk...

    Art ? Total Disaster

Would anyone just die if they did better in their mocks than the real thing? I got 9 As and a B in English in my mocks, I was always doubtful of the three core subjects, English, Gaeilge and Maths, I know I'm capable of an A in all, but the more I think about each, the more I think a B looks likely. Wouldn't it be embarrassing if I did worse in the actual J.C.?

Don't count on an A in CSPE, when I did the JC I got an A in CSPE in the mocks, then in the real thing I got all As and Bs and then a big fat C in CSPE

English A - really hoping for an A in english its the only one I reallly want and hoping I just scraped one.. (83 in the mock!)
Irish C- Exam did not go my way at all.. will be over the moon if I manage to scrape a B
Maths B- Was aiming for an A but considering I cried in paper one that seems unlikley :P
History A- Was a lovley paper really couldnt have gone better :)
Geography B- went really well but everyone seems to have done well so it will probs be marked really hard :/
    Sciece C/B- I did leave the exam at 10 :15 ...
Business A-was a really nice paper one of the best I sat!:)
Art- B- Was aiming for an A but don't think I got it.. could be pleasently suprised
spanish C- languages are not my strong point should have really done pass sp will be happy with a C :)
CSPE B- For some reason I dont think I got an A and am expecting a B
Religion B- same for cspe.. just didnt know the finer details to scrape an A

Will be delighted with the above results anything better will be a great suprise! If I get the A's in history, business and english I will be delighted! :)
