    Hey guys,

I'm back for some more advice. :)

I was thinking about selling some more expensive items on ebay. Such as a synthesizer, which would sell for roughly 600 euro (if I was lucky!). But I'm just wondering if anyone has any good safeguard ideas? As I'd be gutted if it got lost, damaged, or the buyer was a bit dishonest.

I've taken some precautions already on my bay acc. Such as setting the preferences of the potential buyers (ie - at least 5 positive feedback, etc.).

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated before I put it up. :)

    Thanks,

    Rob.

    Hi I have few tips:

1.If the buyer is from the UK check if the address in PayPal is confirmed.(only ship to this address, if the buyer wants the payment to go somewhere else refund them and ask them to send the payment again)

    2. Regardless of any email notifications check that the funds are in your PayPal account before dispatch.

    3. Send the item with tracking and if valued over £150.00 it must be signed for.

    4. Keep your proof of postage for at least 6 months.

5.Do a contact information swap on eBay after the sale and phone the buyer and suss him out.

    6. If in doubt call PayPal and ask if them would they send the item if they where you. The guy you speak with can see more than you and while he cant tell you what he is basing his recommendation on if they refund it, REFUND IT.

Following Seller protection guidelines and common sense will see you right.

    Cheers
