I got a letter from UPC today highlightiing all the wonderful upgrades to their network that have recently come online, along with a page containing the new phone tariffs. Now I was a bit miffed at them doing away with the peak and off-peak prices, especially since off peak mobile calls are now nearly double.

However, what's really surprising is that the out of bundle charges for the new Anywhere 100 and 200 are nothing short of robbery. 20c for a local call at anytime? Are they trying to push people away from getting phones (and use the bandwidth for other things ....... hadn't thought of that).
