Where do you look for app/app info?

I was wondering where do people browse for finding the apps they want or information on apps they've found? Where do you find out about the latest apps to get?

Many people complain to me that Google Play isn't great for finding apps and I've noticed from the recommended apps thread on this forum that people have plenty of information on many apps.

As a developer I'm interested in knowing where you find out about apps outside of Google Play it would be beneficial to me when developing apps in the future and I'm sure others would also like to know about alternative sources of information on how to search for apps.

So outside of Google Play what do you use? Do you use forums where others recommend apps? Do you use review sites where apps are reviewed and recommended? Do you simply browse Google? Or do you simply search Google Play? Do you use alternative markets such as getJar?

I've recently found drippler which is a news aggregator tailored to your device. Found some interesting suggestions there.

Android Police is a big one for me. Very quick with news and do a weekly round up of new apps and ones with significant updates.
