USB 3.0 Memory stick suggestions

    Hi Everyone,

    Just wondering if anyone here would have some suggestions for a good 3.0 memory stick for personal use, it would be mostly used for transferring movies from a laptop on to the stick to watch on the playstation, etc. My laptop is 3.0 compatible. Cheers lads :)

    For copying movies you probably want a fast write, nothing worse than waiting ten minutes for a transfer.

    I get 40MB/s write from a CMFVY3S-32GB. That's pretty fast for a thumbdrive, the average no-name one only does ~5MB/s. Cost me about €30 I think.

    A cheaper alternative would be something like a 16GB Jetflash 700. About €15 on Amazon. Won't write anywhere near as quick though.

    Note that none of them will see any benefit in the PS3. Firstly the port is only USB2.0. Second you don't need fast read speeds for playing movies anyhow. The real benefit of a fast drive will just be copying movies onto the drive.
