University of Aberdeen?

    I've an offer from University of Aberdeen that I'm fairly hopeful of achieving. Problem is, I've never been there (I know, but I couldn't justify the cost of it). Does anyone have any knowledge of the University or the area it's in, or even just about Aberdeen in general?
