Hi,
The controller I got with my playstation 3 got damaged so I bought a cheap replacement one. I got the cheapest because I thought they'd all be the same but the new one isn't great.
I'm just wondering does anyone know what the craic is with the controllers? Should I just stump up the money and buy an official sony one or are there cheaper ones which are as good?

Thanks for any help and sorry if this is a very basic question.

I have bought a few unofficial ones over the years and they never seem to be as good as the official ones TBH. I would advise putting the money down.

Cheap controllers are never ever as good as their OEM counterparts.

You can get good 3rd party controllers but they are usually even more expensive than the OEM like Razer etc.

Just stick with the originals and you can't go wrong they last forever if looked after properly.

I went out and got the proper one today; it's much better.

Sorry if this is off topic, I have 2 official controllers... 1 of them has not been turning on in the past few months... All buttons etc are intact though... Would this be with the battery could I open it and fix it or what?... Also the other 1 the only 1 that was working the same thing happened yesterday they won't charge up at all...
