Know your stuff. There are plenty of ways to pass the test by cramming and such but its no use if you dont understand the theory. 9tut.com is good for sims

There are plenty of community colleges (VEC's) that do the CCNA as part of a FETAC award. They usually have some real equipment to practice on and the Cisco accredited tutor will walk you through the official online Cisco course; CCNA exploration or CCNA discovery. It's always good to be able to ask questions about what your studying in a classroom environment. You can't go wrong there.

Combine that with home study and research, and some video series like CBT nuggets and your away.

If you're already well versed in networking you might want to consider home study via the official Cisco books or one of the fast track courses that are available for a (hefty) fee.
