    I am a student finished till September. Can I claim Jobseeker's Benefit for the summer if I have no job. Thanks

    Don't think so as you're technically in full time education. Even when you finish college and have no job, you have to wait about 6 months (I think) before you can claim JB and have it backdated.

    Don't think this is correct. I know people who signed on from the date their last exam finished to the day they started post-grad.

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

    If you are getting the back to education allowance during the college year, then yes you can sign on for JSA for the summer until you go back.

    Yes this is usually becuase you need to apply for the post grad and its not 100% you have it till september so technically for those months you are not in eduaction.
