Arma2 AI?

    So i eventually got round to playing some arma 2 online, done some coop domination i think it was , taking over towns on the map with AI defending the towns.
    The only problem was the AI seemed totally think, i mean 30 feet away from them and they just ignored me.
    I took over one town on my own taking out 30+ Ai enemies far too easily, its was boring tbh.
    They just stood there, going prone the odd time or running mindlessly sometimes running right past me.
    Is this normal? because i have to wonder whats the point of it if the AI are consistently this bad?
    The small bit of single player i played was a lot more challenging with ai seeming to be a lot better.

    Was it on easy, medium and veteran its quite difficult.

    Generally if a spotter spots or a higher upper, they coming for you all of them!!!!

    They will form up and do covering fire until your dead, but it depends on the mission/mod.

    generally they are bastards to beat if difficulty is set to a decent level.

    Sounds like they must of been set to easy,I'll try some more games to see what's what.

    As a suggestion try out the in game scenarios, Laser Light show is quite good.

    Easy but great fun.

    Campaign can be buggy as **** but some brilliant SP missions in scenario and on the official forums.


    Im modifying Domination for the spare server atm. its a uhh special version :)

    It's not like other FPS where as soon as you enter the set piece all the bad guys turn and start shooting at you. If they don't know where you are they can't shot you.

    I've found they track me down and kill me pretty quick though, you must be on an easy setting.
