    Hi Folks

I need to buy a tablet- it's primarily for study - I have a bad back so its perfect to use lying down .....my primary concern is how many gb I will need. How much for text books....is 16gb enough? I like apple products but would consider something else if it makes better sense

    Thanks

I want to buy a tablet. Which is best for word processing, memory, screen size, internet connection, wifi & weight?

I don't know about other devices. But the iPad can handle ms office files and pdf's through Safari. They also have their version of Office, iWork available as iPhone and iPad apps. Which are brilliant apps. The iPad runs perfectly and you'll rarely run into any issues. Maybe try the Android forum too, they might offer some alternative tablets that can do what you need. There is rumours of MS Office being worked on for the iPad. But nothing definitive so far.

I find the iPad poor at handling ms office documents. And I have tried several apps that do it. But I have never tried it on Android so I cant tell of it is any better.

Beside that it is a very good device AS LONG as it is jb.
