Radio ariel reception

    Hi, Just wondering if anyone could make a recommendation for the following thanks. I have moved my hifi system which comprises of seperates to a new location in the house and ever since I have not been able to get decent radio reception. It is very crackly and admittedly the only ariel plugged into the tuner is a very basic thing from the stone age. So I was just wondering if anyone can recommenced a decent type of ariel, I would have no issue putting one on the roof if necessary and running a cable from it but I dont know anything about ariels so hence looking for some advice.
