I Like Clare - go to bunratty castle & folk park, into Limerick city, Ailwee caves, burren, lahinch, kilkee and cliffs of moher.

Should be something there for everyone!

    Northern Ireland.

Belfast- Titanic Exhibition, Taxi Tour, City Centre, Linenhall Library, Crown Liquor Saloon and Robinson's Pubs on Gt. Victoria Street, opposite Europa Hotel.
Good eating for different budgets including celebrity chef Paul Rankin's 'Cayenne' http://www.cayenne-restaurant.co.uk/further along Gt. Victoria St. along "The Golden Mile" towards Queen's University Gothic buildings and parkland around University St. including The Botanic Gardens. There is alot more nightlife here and on Lisburn road, food and drink as it caters for both Students and the City Centre crowd.
For history or a side of history there is a recommended Black Taxi Tour from former drivers who drove a shared ride service along the main routes of Belfast.
Belfast Zoo is in the North of the city at the foot of Cave Hill. The Zoo gives a huge amount of space to the inmates and has a walk-through Avery aswell. Cave Hill has marked routes, easy, and other hills overlooking Belfast include Black Hill and Divis.

Further north on the County Antrim coast is Giant's Causeway and Ballycastle resort. Bushmills distillery in the village of Bushmills. Two coastal towns Cushendall and Cushendun.

Lough Nenagh, Ireland's largest lake. If you have a chance two miles outside of Ballymena (Co. Antrim) there is a preserved Moravian village called Gracehill.http://www.gracehillvillage.org/moravian-church/ It was founded in the 18th century by migrants from central Europe escaping persecution. I came across it after visiting Ballymena Utd. and I have no doubt that there are dozens of other such histories dotted around Ulster, unreported elsewhere.

Other towns like Armagh and the completely walled centre of L/Derry are also worth a stop.
