Tethering galaxy s2

    Hi, does anyone know is there settings i have to activate for wifi tethering to work on my S2. I go in to wifi tether and it activates but no laptop or games console is able to pick it up. Im on 3. Thanks

    Its against the three TOS...but they cant detect it....

    very strange

    I have an S2 on the 3 network and I can tether without any problem, although my phone is rooted and has a custom ROM installed

    I'm on 3Ireland and can tethering just fine (when I can get a 3G signal :rolleyes:).
    It's allowed for contracts started before 1/Jan/12.

    Dont know whats wrong.im with 3 for ages. Sickened its not working

    Tethering working fine for me whenever I use it and I am a customer from June last year (S2)
