    Hi,

Just want to be prepared in case of emergency.

Can you walk into any Vision Express store in Europe and be out an hour later with your contacts/specs?

    Regards

Assuming there is a Vision Express outlet, then I see no reason why not, although I would allow more than an hour. My limited understanding is that not every type of lens can be produced in an hour. If you have a prescription already, then it may speed up the process.

I know that my wife had an eye test and got contact lenses in an opticians in Nice a while back and there was no issue, barring a tricky conversation in our poor french and his poor english! I would daresay that if you're happy to pay up, they're happy to serve you.
