Anyone else notice that the Kia Ceed turned into the Ford Focus

That was sneaky of them.
Have some Chinese facsimile design firm been involved.
Tell me I'm not seeing things.
The headlamps & the top profile are very similar.

I also think the new Focus looks crap BTW, muck preferred the '06 model.

So similar it's scary, just look at the shape of the side windows, or even everything else.
They just stuck on a different grill.
Time to give the Kia a try?
You're right BTW, 06 Focus was where it was at.
But in my mind they're all copying the Focus now, the original 1998 Focus turned car design on it's head, it was such a clean and neat design in a world of horrible half-used bars of soap.
It ended the design horror that was the 90's. All cars from that decade should be crushed and forgotten about.

I think the KIA is far nicer, pity about the badge.. its crap! Like a KVI label or something!

Ah yes you cannot beat the olde badge snobbery. The 7 year warranty compared to the 2 year VW warranty is a big difference to most people imo.

This was designed in 1995. One of the best looking cars from that decade and even it's been 17 years now, it still looks well on the roads

Was going to post a pic of the Bravo myself, I think that's the car that started that whole look that the Focus and subsequent stole from.

I had one myself, similar to the one in the pic but with a small factory fitted spoiler, not those big whale tail type ones. I spotted it on the M50 about a month after I traded it in only to see that it had been abused, the owner had added one of those stupid screw on exhausts to it.

The black one on the pic has got that small factory fitted spoiler. Did you have different one?

I had a bravo with factory fitted spoiler once, but I sold it 4 years ago.
I think it was the same as on the first pic.
