is the driving test cheaper after u fail ?

    the first time is 85 is it cheaper if i fail or is it 85 again also im on the cancellation list for my first test in raheny how long does it usually take ? thanks

    Cancelation waiting times are hard to estimate. Be ready for a phone call asking if you if you want to do a test in a weeks time.

    Well if you consider that that's already being supplemented by the government so you aren't paying the full cost per test, and then take into account the cost of learning to drive in say, germany, which costs over €2000. It really isn't that bad. Nor is it that hard.

    Instructor I did pre-tests with. Meant to be going up to €150 end of this month/August.

    Along with a change in the testers. Churchtown test centre is closing down at the end of August so maybe it'll happen in line with that.

    How long after failing can you apply again?

    I thought it was immediate. Rang them up (without applying online prior) and she said wait 3/4 weeks before applying again.

    + u can [FONT=Times New Roman,serif][FONT=Arial,sans-serif] go on a list for a test date at short notice.. if somebody cancels their test u get their spot :D
