    Hey Guys

Just checking if its possible to get a cheque book on a third level student account and, if i can, how much does it cost?

I know there a stamp duty of 50c per cheque but how many cheques are in a book?

Is it also possible to get a paying-in book for a third level student account?

    Thanks

    Hi dragon5678.

    Thanks for your query.

It is possible to get a cheque book on a third level student account. If this will be the first cheque book on your account, you will need to apply for one through your branch.

There is indeed a charge of 50c per cheque, however once a cheque book has been issued to you, a total of €12.50 government stamp duty will be charged to your account as there are a total of 25 cheques per book.

It is also possible to have a lodgement book for your account. This can also be requested through your branch or if you have your account set up for Banking365, a representative there will be happy to order one for you.

    Hope this helps.
