    Hi

Thinking of switching to android from ios.

One of the big things I use my iPhone for is as a remote control for Keynote on my iPad for giving lectures.

Is there an android app that can act as a remote control for playing PowerPoint sideshows on a nearby pc?

Plenty of remote control apps for android, you would only have to install a small server program on the host pic to listen for the android app

Gmote is one. Keyboard, touch pad, remote and you can stream media on the pc back to your phone.

One of the first apps I install on any new smartphone.

Teamviewer works on Android now too, which is amazingly useful, connect to any machine you need to, any time, any where.

Teamviewer is good, but it's locked down in the security settings at work so I can't use it.

Anyway, I wouldn't really need to see the desktop on my phone, just a simple "move on a slide/move back a slide" interface.

I'll have a look at gmote, thanks.
