Betting Bank Account

I'd like to setup a seperate bank account from my standard account for online betting as I don't want betting transactions appearing on my statments.

I checked out a few of the banks and the transactions fees are pretty high unless you deposit a fair bit or your salary is paid monthly into the account.

Could anyone recommend the best bank for this need? Ideally free internet banking. I'm not a student or a recent graduate.

    Thanks in advance

I think you would be better off signing up for moneybookers or neteller tbh, have you looked at those options?

What about using the Paddy Power cash card?

Get a PayPal of Moneybookers account, they're free to set up.

Your money will go from your bank account to the Paypal account into your bookies account (and then hopefully more will go in the reverse).

Bear in mind that both Paddy Power and Ladbrokes have a 'cash card' you can use too.

    What bookies are you using?

Who do you used for online betting?

I agree with the others. You're best just depositing cash directly in a bookies. If you're using betfair, i know the local "casino" in dundalk allows (or at least used to allow) you to deposit cash directly to your betfair account... I'm sure other bookies have similar agreements.

I don't think there's any point setting up a new bank account. Free banking is a thing of the past. You'll only get free banking if your wages are being paid into your account, and even then BOI (for example) has a tonne of stupid rules such as use your laser card and make an online transaction every quarter.
