i have a learner permit, going to apply for full licence.. need help

    Someone told me, you have to do 10 lessons before you can apply for driving licence. Is this true ? and roughly how long do you have to wait for your test after applying?

    If your first lwrner permit was issued on 4th April 2011 or later you will have to do a minimum of12 lessons with an RSA approved Instructor and your test cannot be taken for at least 6 months after issue date of 1st learner permit. Best of luck , what area are you in?

    cheers dave....My learner permit is around 3 years old, lost it so have to get a new one first. So once im ready i can take the test, ya.. From sligo but moved to germany 3 months ago, think its better to go back to ireland to get the licence
