These 2 line up against each other tonight in Nowlan Park in the Leinster Semi Final. Live on TG4 from 7.15 with a 7.30 throw in.

Wexford won the fixture last year and were impressive in doing so.

Kilkenny are odds on favourites for this. They played Clare in a challenge in May getting a right hiding. It finished 7-22 to 1-16. I believe Clare were missing a few important players that day and KK had a relatively strong team.

    KK Lineup
    Dylan Walsh (Thomastown)
    Jason Corcoran (John Lockes)
    Willie Phelan (Dunnamaggin)
    Joe Lyng (Rower/Inistioge)
    Luke Harney (Kilmacow)
    Richie Doyle (Barrow Rangers)
    Brian Kennedy (St. Lachtains)
    Geoff Brennan (St.Patricks, Ballyragget)
    Ollie Walsh (Dicksboro)
    Cathal Kenny (Barrow Rangers)
    Padraig Walsh (Tullaroan)
    Cillian Buckley (Dicksboro)
    Ger Aylward (Glenmore)
    Walter Walsh (Tullogher/Rosbercon)
    Kevin Kelly (St.Patricks, Ballyragget) Captain

    Subs:
    16. Richie Reid (Ballyhale Shamrocks)
    17. Pat O’Carroll (Lisdowney)
    18. Owen McGrath (John Lockes)
    19. Ian Duggan (Mullinavat)
    20. James Gannon (St.Patricks, Ballyragget)
    21. Sean Kehoe (Young Irelands)
    22. Paul Buggy (Tullaroan)
    23. James Cassin (Rower/Inistioge)
    24. Michael Brennan (St.Patricks, Ballyragget)
    25. John Power (Carrickshock)
    26. Martin Gaffney (Dicksboro)
    27. Sean Phelan (Lisdowney)
    28. Stephen Staunton (St.Patricks, Ballyragget)
    29. Conor Tobin (Fenians)
    30. Johnny Hayes (Kilmacow)
    31. David Glynn (Dicksboro)

I thought Cillian Buckley was injured and out for 3 months?

If he is fit is he likely to feature for the seniors on Saturday?

Whats the craic with all the subs? At least 14 players togging out that will play no part.

Will be a close one, say Kilkenny might pull thru in the end with a 4 or 5 pt win.

Other semi is between Carlow and Laois. Laois are hot faves after knocking out a fancied Dublin in last round, so wud expect them to win by about 10.

Carlow have struggled for numbers at training, and while we have some very good players..just can't see them pull it together for this.

Was the wexford corner back shown a second yellow or a straight red? I know he was already on a yellow.

    Second yellow, I think.

    Result KK 3-20 Wex 4-6

Thought 4-6 was a bit flattering for Wexford, the ref gave very easy decisions towards them in the 2nd half when they were dead and buried imo.

Wexford were up 1-4 to 0-1 after about 10 mins but then collapsed completely. I thought John Power looked good and Kevin Kelly from ballyragget looked good too
