Have a freelander that is starting it then starves itself of fuel light comes on then cuts out.already put new pumb in no change.any ideas of my problem

What light comes on... & what type of Fuel (diesel/Petrol) + quantity in tank? & have you changed fuel filter?... Mayde crap in tank blocking intake pipe??....
