Just looking for some opinions as some of you guys clearly know your stuff :D

Put my 2000 A4 through the test today and passed but with some advisories.
    1. Offside track rod end rubber in poor condition.
Can the rubber boot be changed or would the whole joint need changing? There was no
Play found so I take it that it's still functioning fine. Should I just leave it be?
    2. Nearside front brake flexible cracked.
I am wondering what I should expect to pay to change this.

    Thanks
    :)

Yeah me too. Thought that would automatic fail. Maybe the inner wire of the pipe has to be showing for a fail?

If you're doing one, you might as well do the other. Track rod end should not cost a fortune, just make sure to have a wheel alignment done afterwards.
And never take a chance with brakes.

You know, I did the other side brake flexible last year but never thought to do both :o
