Swimming in the Canal in Kilcock

Hey, Just wondering if anyone has experience of swimming in the canal in Kilcock? Only five mins from the house so would be handy to be able just to head down for a swim. There used to be a triathlon on here and a lot of kayak polo is played there so thinking the water quality is pretty good? Anyone know if your allowed to…
