For Grass, I reckon Dangan pitches are your best bet. Not sure about access though, it's been many years since I was there in College.

Also South Park, down at the Claddagh, as the song goes:

I'm going down to South Park

Dangan is open for use. Renmore pitches, racecourse or the pitches out in Knocknacara are some others.
