I'm toying with the idea of doing a civil eng degree here as a second degree as I'm in final year od a sicence degree in NUIG. Anybody have any advice on the course? How has the school coped after the cheating thing a few years ago? would it be worth doing and then trying to get into uni for the fourst year of the course? also is there any stigma of having an engineering degree from GMIT compard to anywhere else or has that gone away?
