Any advice on the civil engineering course?

I'm toying with the idea of doing a civil eng degree here as a second degree as I'm in final year od a sicence degree in NUIG. Anybody have any advice on the course? How has the school coped after the cheating thing a few years ago? would it be worth doing and then trying to get into uni for the fourst year of the course?…
