Been looking around the last few days on the web. I'm liking the M Sport kit cars, but are they just fur coat?

Anyone know of any potential good buys out there?

I bought a 07 520D but was sorry I didn't get the M-sport as they really transform the look of the e60..stiffer suspension etc .
Love the wheels as well...I've being tempted to change and go to a 09 M-sport

I was looking at an m-sport and a normal e60 today at an auction 07 msport 125k kms went for 10.7k so you may get better value if you drop a year. The Msport is a far nicer car both inside and out, looking at getting one myself now.

M-Sport E60 has turned into a really nice car. I hated it when it came out way back in 2003 but it has actually aged really well in my opinion. Chris Bangle actually succeeded!

€22k imo seems expensive for a 2008 520d these days.

There is cheaper out there, but no leather seats, very basic spec etc. I'd also feel better buying from a dealer for at least some semblance of security.

    Wow, 10,700 is damn cheap.

Half leather was standard on the E60 M Sport. Be prepared to pay above the odds for the comfort of a dealer warranty especially if it is a BMW warranty.

There is probably a good reason it was that cheap and being sold at an auction. ;) These cars are not hard to sell at reasonable money unless there is something wrong with it.

I have an 2006 520d msport for the last 3 years , excellent car , mine is the pre LCI 163bhp version, later 2007 / 2008 models have 177bhp, if you can at all get one with 19' spider alloys , they look so well on the e60 and believe it or not they actually improve the ride over the 18' mv alloys that come with runflats as standard.

Quick look on donedeal there, €22k does seem a bit strong for an 08, best of luck with your search , keep us informed :D

2008 520d's are ten a penny, however the ones in good nick seem to fetch decent money. One of the cars in work was bought by Keane's last month for €20k cash at the end of its lease. This was with about 1500 worth of bodywork to be done. It was a 2008 m- sport, full leather, auto with 56,000 kms (about €60k new). You will therefore pay a premium for the auto and one with low miles.
