    a sibling of mine needs to apply for j.a., they have had to move in with our mother, will her claim, if she gets it, affect my mothers widows pension. if so by how much.tnx

    No your mothers pension will not be affected by an adult childs payment.

    Depending on the age of your sibling though your siblings payment might be affected by the fact that they are living in thier parents house and are that is treated as "benefit and privilege".

    Also although you mothers main payment won't be affected if she is getting any extra payments such as the Household Benefits Package then that payment MAY be affected.
